Not everyone is ready for the Annual Unlimited Transactions CoinTracking subscription that we are offering on this page!

If you are just beginning to explore cryptocurrencies, the Free account level of the CoinTracking software may be perfect for you!  However, you should know that the Free level does not include API connections to your accounts, so all of your transactions must be added manually or through uploading a CSV file.  In addition, the tax reports for the Free level have some limitations, including a limit of 100 closed trades.

If you have more than 200 transactions or do not wish to enter your transactions manually, you can choose from a variety of subscription levels designed to meet your current and future reporting needs.  CoinTracking accounts are full-featured with all paid subscriptions (all reports are available as well as API connections with your exchange, if supported.)

You will receive emails from us shortly after purchase with detailed updates on when you can expect to access your software subscription.  On the checkout page, you will be asked if you already have a CoinTracking account or not.  If you do not have an account, the first email sent will help you sign up for your free CoinTracking account.  After you’ve opened your new account or if you have an account from before, you will receive an email to help you connect to our corporate account and access your Unlimited Transactions and API connections.

(Please note: if you do not click on the links in the emails to open and connect your account, you will be sent a couple of reminder emails.  If you chose the option to open a new account from CoinTracking and then do not click on the link in the email to open your account, the email with the access to your unlimited transactions may not get triggered!)

When you purchase your annual unlimited transactions software subscription from Beta Virtual Assistance, you will be entitled to your access for a full year so that you can update your tax reports, inspect your portfolio statistics, plan for next year's taxes, and more.

We will send you a renewal notice shortly before your subscription expires to confirm if you would like to continue subscribing.  Otherwise, see "What if I want to cancel my subscription" for warnings about ending your subscription.

Your software subscription purchase of an Annual Unlimited Transaction account from us is risk-free for 7 days.  If you are not 100% satisfied with the software, just send an email to helpdesk@betavirtualassistance.com or use our support desk to ask for an easy, no-questions-asked refund. 

When we process your request, we will immediately unlink your account from our corporate account and it will return to its former status (free or whatever level you had paid for previously).  Please make sure you have saved a backup copy of your transactions, just in case a computer glitch happens, before you request your cancellation.

Many of your transactions can be uploaded easily and automatically through CoinTracking's robust series of API connections.  You'll need to access your accounts and complete all verifications to establish the API connections, but, after that, the information will magically load!

If your exchange or wallet does not have an API connection listed, you can upload a CSV file that you download from your exchange.  Don't worry: there's lots of info about how to do this and troubleshooting your process available either through the Crypto Bookkeeping Simplified annual membership or directly through CoinTracking's extensive documentation.

Not only does CoinTracking make it very easy for you to transfer your already established account to our corporate account, but it makes it even easier for you to unlink your account from ours should you change your mind or at the end of your subscription.  To connect your account, we'll send you a link to click on and the process is already done!  When you are finished with your subscription, we will unlink your account and it will return to whatever status it was previously (free level or paid).

CoinTracking offers an interesting feature for customers who would like to link two accounts together.  If you purchase any subscription package directly through CoinTracking, they allow you to link another account to your first account for free which will then share the transaction level with your original account.

• This has a couple of benefits: 
  • Only one subscription package payment.
  • You can see all of the transactions in both accounts from one dashboard.
• But it also has some drawbacks: 
  • CoinTracking only allows one linked account per retail customer. Therefore, if you need to connect your account to a corporate account or a tax preparer's account for a professional to look at it, you'll need to unlink your accounts (and relink when you are done).
  • If you need to change transactions that affect both accounts, you'll need to sign into each account to do so.  And if you need a professional to look at your accounts, you'll need to unlink your shared accounts and then hook up each account separately to the professional's account.
  • If you have a lot of transactions in one account (or both!), you will reach your transaction level limit more quickly and then need to upgrade your subscription package.
  • Multiple accounts, multiple passwords, multiple ways to set up 2FA....it can all get you locked out of your account if you can't keep your passwords straight.  (Hopefully this won't happen the night before your tax deadline with CoinTracking's support team in a different time zone in Germany!)

So, one option for you is to choose the separate accounts and link them (or unlink them) as needed.

Your financial situation will be kept in strictest confidence.  If you are a “whale”*  with $4 billion worth of Bitcoin, we’ll never tell, although we may admire your account with awe and jealousy!

* a whale is a term used in the crypto community to denote a person with A LOT of Bitcoin or other cryptos

Yes!  Beta Virtual Assistance LLC now offers Done-For-You services for your crypto tax reporting, although you will still need a qualified tax preparer and/or expert to file and submit your full income taxes.  (Chances are good that you have more income to report than your crypto transactions, and your tax preparer is most familiar both with your personal financial situation as well as the laws and rules that apply to your country and jurisdiction.)

Our Premium Package includes reconciliation and preparation of your crypto tax reports.  After you connect your exchanges and wallets to the software and send us any additional needed info, we will ensure that everything is reported properly, including optimizing your reports and helping you choose the best tax method for your situation and country.  By the time we are done, you will know exactly what to submit to your tax preparer regarding your cryptocurrency transactions or we will help you know what and how to submit your data if you are using a tax preparation software like TurboTax.
 

We are now offering Done-For-You services as part of our Premium Crypto Bookkeeping Simplified membership where we reconcile your accounts, correct errors, and prepare your reports.  However, you will still need to do everything related to connecting your accounts to the software.  To make it easier for you, we have created a 30-minute tutorial course on exactly what you need to know to get this task done with a minimum of frustration.  We also offer Quickstart workshops and 1:1 Zoom consults as part of your package where we will get together with you to help you troubleshoot any connections if you run into trouble.

Beta Virtual Assistance LLC and its employees and associates will NEVER ask for access to your actual accounts.  This includes asking for seed phrases, keys, passwords, authentication codes, and any other information we would need to directly access your wallets or exchanges.  (And if someone claiming to be from Beta Virtual Assistance DOES ask for that info, please email jessica@betavirtualassistance.com so she can fire that person!)

We want to keep your crypto accounts COMPLETELY SAFE.  The CoinTracking software API’s that you will need to connect to your wallets and exchanges should be set up with READ ACCESS ONLY (this may have different names at your exchange, but it is usually listed as the FIRST permission.  Do NOT select Trade or Transfer permissions when you set up your API’s!)  At no point will anyone be able to buy or sell or steal your cryptocurrencies through the CoinTracking software.
